Veteran actor Nana Patekar passed away after suffering a severe cardiac arrest in Goa. He was 75.

According to hospital officials, Patekar was found unconscious at his residence and was taken to Manipal Hospital in Dona Paula during the early hours of the morning. Doctors said he had died before reaching the hospital.

Dr. Shekhar Salkar, Head of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, said the actor suffered a severe cardiac arrest.

Medical staff performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for approximately 45 minutes in an effort to revive him. However, the attempts were unsuccessful.

Hospital authorities confirmed that Patekar could not be saved despite continuous emergency intervention.
