The Main Auditorium of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce came alive with music, colours, and celebration as the Nav Bahaar Arts and Cultural Society successfully organised its annual cultural fest “Srijan 4.0.” The event was hosted by the NCWEB Centre of the college and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the city. More than 250 students from 17 undergraduate NCWEB centres took part in the festival. Their energy and creativity made the event one of the largest cultural gatherings of the academic session. Grand Opening with Shabad Recitation The programme began with a warm welcome ceremony. A soulful Shabad recitation set a spiritual and positive tone for the day. The audience appreciated the calm and meaningful start to the celebration. Soon after the opening, the auditorium filled with excitement as students, teachers, and guests gathered to celebrate art, culture, and creativity. Presence of Distinguished Guests The event was honoured by the presence of several distinguished guests and academic leaders. The Chief Guest, Navneet Kaur, inspired the students with her encouraging words. The Guest of Honour, Surendra Singh, also addressed the audience and appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the participants. The respected Principal, Kawal Gill, praised the organising team for their hard work and dedication. In her address, she highlighted the importance of cultural activities in the overall development of students. The Teacher-in-Charge, Amanjot Kaur, motivated the participants and congratulated them for showcasing their talents on such a vibrant platform. Several other distinguished guests and faculty members also attended the event, adding prestige and encouragement to the celebration. Launch of the “Shukrana” Society One of the most memorable moments of the fest was the introduction of a new student society called “Shukrana.” The society symbolises gratitude, strength, and empowerment. Its launch received a warm response from the audience. Students welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm. The new society aims to encourage students to express appreciation, build confidence, and promote a positive spirit within the college community. Musical Performances Create Electrifying Atmosphere The cultural fest was filled with exciting performances throughout the day. A special highlight of the event was a power-packed musical performance by Aditya Chauhan. His energetic performance created an electrifying atmosphere in the auditorium. Students cheered, clapped, and enjoyed the lively musical experience. Later in the programme, the Humsafar Band also performed and mesmerised the audience with melodious songs. Their performance added a perfect musical ending to the cultural celebrations. Nine Competitions Showcase Student Talent “Srijan 4.0” featured nine different competitions covering a wide range of creative fields. These competitions highlighted talent in art, culture, music, fashion, and creativity. Students from different NCWEB centres participated with great enthusiasm. The stage became a platform where young talents expressed their ideas and artistic skills. The competitions also encouraged teamwork, confidence, and creativity among the participants. Award Ceremony Celebrates Winners The programme concluded with a formal Award Distribution Ceremony. Winners of various competitions were honoured for their outstanding performances. The celebration ended on a joyful note as the audience applauded the efforts of the performers and organisers. Vote of Thanks and Memorable Conclusion The Teacher Convenor, Al Huda, delivered the Vote of Thanks. She expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, organising committee, and the audience for making the event successful. “Srijan 4.0” proved to be more than just a cultural event.
